Life in Airport Residential is cosmopolitan and convenient. The neighbourhood hosts several of Accra's finest restaurants: Noi Restaurant is famed for its contemporary West African cuisine and is a favourite for business lunches and romantic dinners alike; Santoku's airport area location serves excellent Japanese-inspired dishes; and several international hotels including the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel and the Labadi Beach Hotel (a short drive away) keep the social calendar lively with rooftop bars, jazz nights, and poolside brunches. Schools

Families are well served educationally. Lincoln Community School — one of the most respected international schools in West Africa and the preferred choice for diplomatic families — sits at the heart of the neighbourhood and offers a US-aligned curriculum from pre-K through Grade 12. The Ghana International School (GIS), also close by, provides a British-style education. Accra Academy, one of Ghana’s most storied secondary schools, is within commuting distance, as is the University of Ghana at Legon for tertiary education. Private nurseries and preparatory schools are plentiful throughout the suburb, making the area genuinely family-friendly from the very earliest years.

Transport

Few locations in Accra can match Airport Residential for transport convenience. Kotoka International Airport is literally minutes away, making early-morning departures and late-night arrivals stress-free. The Neoplan bus terminal and major trotro routes along Liberation Road connect the area to Accra Central, Tema, and beyond. The Ring Road East and Liberation Road are two of Accra’s principal arteries and run directly through or adjacent to the neighbourhood, providing swift access to Osu, Labone, Cantonments, and the main business districts. Uber and Bolt are ubiquitous, and many residents maintain private vehicles for maximum flexibility.
