Within the city, taxis and trotros are the primary public transport modes. Uber is active in Takoradi, though coverage is less comprehensive than in Accra. The Takoradi Port is a major economic hub that generates significant logistics traffic, and the city's road network, while improving, can be congested in the central commercial areas.
